Advertising policy on Radio Quality

Radio Quality is now offering these three options for business promotion using our experience in audio and multimedia production for the Internet.

Web advertising

Radio Quality is selling both webpage banner advertising and audio 'top and tail' advertising on our features.

Radio Quality produces only quality content and we have a responsive audience who come to our site to find something specific. We are, after all, already giving them a quality product for free and they appreciate our sponsors and advertisers for making this possible.

Start your advertising relationship with Radio Quality now and, as we grow, reap the rewards of a strong relationship.

Typical rates are £10 per thousand impressions for banner ads and £26 per thousand deliveries for an audio feature 'top and tail'.

Remember that according to RQ's self-imposed public service broadcasting charter, all our advertising income is reinvested in order to improve the quality and reach of our output - benefiting you the sponsor-advertiser.

Sponsored editorial feature

If you have a new release, a service or a product to promote we can produce a Radio Quality feature. This can contain interviews, sound clips, location/actuality as well as images and written material.

Your company, product name and logo will all feature prominently in the article.

You can also buy exclusive rights to advertising space on the feature page and surrounding pages.

Audio/Multimedia Promotion Kit

As everyone knows, the media is hungry for material. This is true not only of traditional printed media and broadcast media, but also new media are increasingly anxious to get their hands on easy to build stories.

You can exploit this with audio or multimedia promotion kits (A/MPK).

For radio, you can pull together generic interview material, sound-bites or clips to send to radio stations giving them a virtually instant feature.

But the beauty is that you can make this available to the new media sector as well - and you can also include web-ready images, photographs or logos, and copies of press releases in a multitude of formats.

Even traditional printed media would be happy to get hold of your press release in electronic format - and you'll be happy that they don't retype it wrongly!

Perhaps you might want to include a full offline version of your company website on the CD as well.

Distribution

You can choose to distribute your material in traditional form on audio CD for a simple APK or on dual purpose CDs that not only play audio but can be read by a computer to provide all the multimedia material.

According to your budget, the sky's the limit for high impact packaging, but you can avoid a high spend and let the CD do the talking.

If you are looking for global access or a low cost solution, we can also set up electronic delivery of all your material via the internet using web access and you can even have password controlled entry.

We have started to display advertising on Radio Quality. We consider this to be a major move and it is not one that we have taken lightly. We ourselves feel that banner ads are not entirely in sympathy with the concept of Radio Quality.
We are trying an ad-server company but trying as hard as possible to filter out ads which you, our discerning listeners, are highly unlikely to click on and we are making every effort to only display advertisibng that is clearly honest. We are attempting to avoid all campaigns such as 'You have won a free gift' or 'You are the 10,000,000 visitor' or 'You have a message'. Many internet ads seem to be targeted mainly at the gullible end of the market. We are also showing slide-over ads and if you consider these or any other ads to be unacceptable, please let us know. We value your opinions.

We prefer to have sponsored content and to survive through commission on such things as video, book and CD sales. We will be pursuing the addition of unobtrusive links for purchasing appropriate items on many of our pages. Please try to buy through RQ links as this will support the site. We would also ask anyone that is interested in advertising/ sponsoring features to look at our information for advertisers.
